| A. Nazmul H. Khan, MBBS, PhD After graduation from medical college, I worked as a clinician in Bangladesh and Botswana. In 1999, I moved to the USA and began research work to develop and characterize mAb against immune molecules at New York Medical College. During a pre-doctoral fellowship at Roswell Park I worked to develop an immunotherapy against cancer and found that tumor cells altered by epigenetic modification can be used as a vaccine to prevent and treat tumors in model systems. Since 2005, I have been working here to define the mechanisms and to design a strategy for clinical application of the epigenetic vaccination against cancer. The knowledge and experience in clinical medicine and bio-medical research I have acquired during past years, I would like to utilize to bring bench-findings into the bed-side. |

Mary Lynn Hensen
I joined Dr. Abram’s laboratory as a Laboratory Technician in July 2008. I manage all of our transgenic and knockout mouse colonies, conduct all breeding and genotyping, and assist with a variety of experimental animal studies. My previous work at Roswell Park also involved maintaining transgenic and knockout mouse colonies, as well as performing studies involving freeze fracture, electron microscopy and HPLC.
