Denim and Diamonds 2010 Brings Glimpse of Paris to Buffalo
Casual evening event at Ani DiFranco’s Church supports cancer research and patient care at Roswell Park Cancer Institute
BUFFALO, NY—This January, Western New Yorkers will have the chance to beat the winter blues by taking a trip to France—without leaving Buffalo. The third annual Denim and Diamonds, presented by HealthTrac, will be hosted on January 29, 2010, to benefit cancer research and patient care programs at Roswell Park Cancer Institute and will feature the theme “An Evening in Paris.”
The event will be held at Asbury Hall, located within Ani DiFranco’s Church on Delaware and Tupper Avenues in Buffalo, from 6 pm to 10 pm. Attendees will enjoy a taste of Parisian culture, including French food and drinks, fashion, and even a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower. Plus, the evening will feature dancing and live music by local artist Nik Lite, a silent auction and much more.
“Denim and Diamonds offers Western New Yorkers the chance to take a break from the winter blues and enjoy a fabulous evening of entertainment, all to support the critical research and patient care programs at Roswell Park,” said Susan Basil, chair of the event, and a volunteer with the Roswell Park Alliance Community Advisory Board. “Join us to show off your favorite jeans and jewelry while you enjoy an evening of fun with a Parisian twist!”
Tickets are $100 or two for $175, and are available for secure purchase online at http://www.roswellpark.org/denim or by calling 716-845-8788.
