Hundreds Walk to Support Breast Cancer Patients
15th Annual Bosom Buddies Walk will raise funds for WNY Breast Resource Center at Roswell Park

WHAT: The 15th annual Bosom Buddies Walk for Roswell will bring nearly 500 walkers together in support of the Western New York Breast Resource Center at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. The walk features options of a 1.5-, 3- or 5-mile route through historic East Aurora.

5-mile walk: 10 am
1.5- and 3- mile walks: 10:30 am

DETAILS: Founded first as a breast cancer support group, Bosom Buddies has raised more than $500,000 for the WNY Breast Resource Center since the first walk in 1995. The WNY Breast Resource Center was opened in 1997 as a free resource to all breast cancer patients, providing individualized information and emotional comfort. Visitors can obtain information about breast health, learn more about treatment options, join breast cancer support and advocacy groups, and take advantage of free and/or discounted wigs.
