Roswell Park Cancer Institute Board of Directors Member Appointed
BUFFALO, NY – New York State Governor George E. Pataki has appointed Mark E. Celmer to the Board of Directors of Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI).
Mr. Celmer is President of Multisorb International, Multisorb Technologies, Inc., Active Pack Automation, Eagle Chemical and Multisorb Technologies, Ltd. Multisorb International is a holding company consisting of manufacturing operations in Buffalo and Orchard Park, NY; Mobile, AL; and Warrington, UK. The corporation is the world leader in the design, development, production and marketing of high quality packaged and fabricated sorbents for controlling constrained environments.
A Western New York community leader, Mr. Celmer is a member of many organizations and affiliations. He is a board member of the Buffalo State College (SUNY) President’s Advisory Council, Western New York Technology Development Center (Insyte Consulting), World Trade Center, Buffalo Niagara (Chairman), and the Buffalo Niagara Partnership; and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Mr. Celmer earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Ithaca College in 1974 and a Master of Arts degree in Management at the George Washington University in 1976.
