RPCI Appoints Two to Division of Psychosocial Oncology

BUFFALO, NY – Jennifer A. Hydeman, PhD, and Megan Pailler, PhD, have been appointed medical psychologists in the Department of Psychosocial Oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI). They will provide comprehensive psychological services and treatment to cancer patients and their families.
Jennifer A. Hydeman, PhD, comes to RPCI from Brooklyn VA Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY, where she served as a psychology intern in the Geropsychology/Oncology Center. She earned her doctoral degree in Philosophy – Counseling Psychology from Temple University, Philadelphia, PA (2007) and completed internships at Council for Relationships (2006) and Wilmington Hospital Bradley Clinic (2005). Dr. Hydeman is a member of the American Psychological Association.
Megan Pailler, PhD, comes to RPCI from The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, PA, where she completed a postdoctoral psychology fellowship. She earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (2004) and completed a Graduate Practica in the Psychological Clinic (2003) at Binghamton University, Binghamton, NY. Dr. Pailler also served as Associate Psychologist with the Greater Binghamton Health Center and completed an internship at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Piscataway, NJ. Dr. Pailler is a member of the American Psychological Association.
The RPCI Division of Psychology provides the highest quality patient care to patients and families coping with a diagnosis of cancer; conducts research related to the psychological aspects of the diagnosis and treatment of cancer; provides education for professional and non-professional staff as well as in-service education relating to Psychology and associated subjects; and provides clinical and research education for affiliated students of accredited educational institutions.
