Blood and Platelet Donors Needed at Roswell Park
BUFFALO, NY – Recent weather events have created an urgent need for blood and platelet donations at Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI). Cancer patients require blood and blood platelet donations almost every day as part of their care.
To donate, you must be at least 17 years of age, weigh at least 110 pounds, have not donated whole blood in 56 days and generally in good health. The Roswell Park Donor Center is open six days per week: Monday through Thursday from 7 am – 7 pm and Friday and Saturday from 7am – 3pm.
