New Contract In Place for Univera & RPCI

Buffalo, NY - Univera Healthcare and Roswell Park Cancer Institute have reached an agreement on a new, multi-year provider contract that covers all services offered by Roswell Park. The contract takes effect January 1, 2007. Terms were not disclosed.

Said Mary Lee Campbell-Wisley, Univera Healthcare regional president, "Univera Healthcare has had a long and successful relationship with Roswell Park Cancer Institute. We are pleased that they will continue to be available to serve our members as part of our provider network."

Univera Healthcare and Roswell Park are collaborating to develop appropriate evidence-based quality measures for cancer care which in part determine reimbursements based on clinical data.

"We welcome this new agreement whereby Univera Healthcare members will continue to have access to the high quality cancer care provided by Roswell Park," said David C.
