Special Program Designed for Women with Recurrent Breast Cancer
BUFFALO, NY – A special program is being planned for women with recurrent or metastatic breast cancer. The Western New York Breast Resource Center at Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) and Life Transitions Center, Inc. will host the program on Wednesday, October 4 at 7 pm at Banquets by Adams, 204 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga, NY.
The program, which includes refreshments, will offer women whose cancer has returned an evening of social networking. Lively discussion about living with metastatic breast cancer will be encouraged. Participants will be asked to provide suggestions for future programming for themselves, their spouses and families.

The Western New York Breast Resource Center at RPCI welcomes all breast cancer patients and their families. This community resource is offered free-of-charge, and provides everything from reference texts and information on diagnosis and treatment options to children’s books that help patients explain the disease to their youngest family members.
Life Transitions Center, Inc. is a nonprofit agency that offers a variety of services to help people cope with serious illness, death and other losses.
