Breast and Gynecologic Cancers: 2005 Update
BUFFALO, NY - Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) invites gynecologists, oncologists, internists, family medicine physicians and other healthcare professionals to participate in “Breast & Gynecologic Cancers: 2005 Update,” Saturday, September 10, 7:30 am to 1 pm, Research Studies Center, RPCI, Elm & Carlton Streets, Buffalo, New York.
The faculty will present current methods of screening, diagnosis and treatment of breast and gynecologic cancers focusing on assessing breast cancer risk, inherited genetic syndromes implicated in breast and gynecologic cancers, tools for early detection of ovarian cancer and follow-up on vaccine prevention of cervical cancer.
Invited lecturers include Donald Gallup, MD, The Medical School of Georgia; Jeffrey M. Goldberg, MD, Louisville Oncology, Louisville, KY; Alan Gordon, MD, University of Arizona at Phoenix; and Bruce Patsner, MD, Food and Drug Administration, Rockville, MD.
Roswell Park Cancer Institute designates this educational activity for a maximum of 4.75 category 1 credits toward the American Medical Associations Physician’s Recognition Award and has been accepted for up to 4.75 prescribed credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians.
