Prostate Cancer: Road Map to the Future
BUFFALO, NY – National experts in prostate cancer will gather for “Prostate Cancer: Road Map to the Future,” hosted by Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI), July 28 – 30, 2005, Niagara Falls Conference Center, 101 Old Falls Street, Niagara Falls, NY, USA.
The program will offer urologists, oncologists, and scientists new information on prostate cancer biology, treatments for advanced prostate cancer and new research in specific biomarkers that may provide a more accurate assessment of the prognosis for prostate cancer. The Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) serum test, discovered at RPCI by Dr. T. Ming Chu, revolutionized prostate cancer detection and management. Dr. Chu will present a historical perspective on its development.
