Cancer Death Rates Continue to Decline; Rates of New Cancers Fall
A report from the nation’s leading cancer organizations finds that Americans’ risk of dying from cancer decreased 2.1 percent from 2002 through 2004 while the rate of new cancers being diagnosed declined slightly.
