Timothy Hanna trained as a PA (LeMoyne College, Syracuse, NY) in 2000 and expanded his role in radiology at a busy Buffalo Imaging center, learning, CT- and Ultrasound-guided biopsy techniques, as well as many imaging-guided procedures (drainages, paracentesis, thoracentesis), etc. He has furthered his radiology knowledge at Roswell Park, so that he is now interpreting CT’s and dictating CT reports, under Radiologist supervision.

Mr. Hanna also “protocols” cases, quality checks new and difficult scans, answers questions, attends to contrast medium reactions, and communicates directly with physicians. He is responsible for the smooth running of the non-technical portions of our evening CT Service.
