Dr. Iris Z. Wang joined the staff of Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) in 2006, as Medical Physicist, Assistant Professor of Oncology in Department of Radiation Medicine. She earned her PhD degree in Biophysical Sciences from State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo in 2004; and completed residency in Medical Physics at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in 2006.

Dr. Iris Z. Wang joined the staff of Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) in 2006, as Medical Physicist, Assistant Professor of Oncology in Department of Radiation Medicine. She earned her PhD degree in Biophysical Sciences from State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo in 2004; and completed residency in Medical Physics at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in 2006.
Dr. Wang is licensed by New York State and is certified by American Board of Radiology in specialty of therapeutical radiological physics. She also is Research Assistant Professor of Radiation oncology at the University at Buffalo, School of Medicine.
Dr. Wang's research interest focus on the studies of clinically related subjects, such as image-guided radiotherapy and HDR brachytherapy, as well as some preclinical studies, such as image-guided small animal irradiation.
She is a member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine and American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology. Dr. Wang has authored or co-authored more than 50 journal publications, book chapters and abstracts.
