Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) has an immediate opening available in their Leukemia Division at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level. This clinical investigator position will fill a tenure track position in the Leukemia Division and Department of Medicine at RPCI and the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Candidates must exhibit the potential to work within and/or develop a clinical/translational program in Leukemia. Strong skills in the clinical management of patients with Leukemia are required. Associate and Professor level candidates must show evidence of a research program in Leukemia. The incoming physician will work in a state-of-the-art environment and be part of a collaborative team. Research start-up packages and laboratory space are available for candidates with laboratory-based research programs.
Roswell Park Cancer Institute, founded in 1898, is considered America’s first cancer center. RPCI is the only upstate New York facility to hold the National Cancer Institute’s “comprehensive cancer center” designation. The Institute has recently been experiencing a renaissance. In the past several years, more than 150 top scientific and clinical faculty members have joined RPCI and have contributed to a surge in clinical activity and basic, translational, and clinical research.
