She earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degrees in 1999 from Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai, India, and a Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynecology (DGO) in 2002 from Madras Medical College, Chennai. India.  She completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Rochester General Hospital, Rochester, NY. 

She will treat patients diagnosed with solid tumors.

Areas of Interest: 
• Contrast-induced nephropathy (a complication of radiographic procedures resulting in kidney damage) and tumor lysis syndrome (metabolic complications that can occur after treatment of cancer) in AML patients

Primary reason for coming to Roswell Park:  To pursue a career in oncology.
