Services

1. Spectral Karyotype evaluation of leukemia, sold tumors and cell lines.

2. Evaluation of the dynamic role of chromosomes and genes in cancer cells.

3. Genomic validation of cells used in immunology, pharmacology and genetics.

4. Assessment of genomic and chromosomal instability.

5. Validation of transgenes, gene-knockout and gentically engineered cells

6. Quantificaiton of gene copy number in clinical and transgene research

7. Consultation, data interpretation, training and ducation.

User Fees

The user fee has been determined according to the Institute's Cost Sharing Policy. If the cost is an issue, please contact Dr. AnneMarie Block. The Administration will provide assistance.

Billing Procedures

Investigators are billed from the Administration - Central Billing Office for specific services rendered according to the rate schedule and are required to transfer the necessary funds to the SKY/FISH acccount (HRI 59-5100) established by Health Research, Inc. (Internal Users). For further billing details, please contact Ms. Kevin McGinley (716) 845-1534, Billing Administrator.

FISH Analysis

Probes of interest (genes cloned in cosmid, plasmic, YAC, BAC, PAC, etc) have to be prepared by the customer. BAC and PAC clones are available from the DNA Microarray Resource (Dr. Norma Nowak 716-845-3361). Detection of ~ 1 kb sequences is possible. We will label the probe (free of charge) and run FISH. For three-color FISH, please contact Dr. AnneMarie Block at 716-845-4589.
